Volunteers teaching monks at Buddhist Monastery
Stefano Paciotti from Italy and Jimmy Janeteas from USA are giving English classes to the monks at Kadampa Monastery at Arubari as a volunteer. They have been teaching English to the monks of different ages. They are taking 4 classes in a day for the monks of different grades for the past 3 weeks. Similarly, another volunteer, Gayle Newbolt from UK has been teaching yoga to the monks from last week.
Teaching at Buddhist monastery is one of the most appreciated program by International Volunteers of VIN. VIN has been offering a unique experience for volunteer to gain insight on the Buddhist culture and traditions. The volunteers who want to learn about the Buddhist culture gets a platform as a part to stay at the Buddhist monastery and observe the daily activities of monks and nuns in Nepal. VIN has focused on providing English and computer classes to the monks and nuns who lacks these kinds of education in their society.
