June 5, Environment Day Celebrated

VIN local and international volunteers celebrated June 5, Environment Day by organising clean up and plantation programmes. Community people, local youths and army men had given their hands for the programmes. We planted over 200 trees of different species around Jitpur school and the environment clean up camp was organised after an awareness program for the local people. The local people were very happy with the program and have committed not to throw garbage around them for making environment neat and clean.
