Jitpurpheedi women agriculture co-operative limited- 7th general assembly

VIN has implemented various activities under the Jitpurphjedi women agriculture co-operative limited. This co-operative was created for a number of reasons. One of the primary reason is pooling together the funds from individual Women’s Savings Groups into one main Cooperative and thereby creating a central fund large enough to supply more substantial, low-interest loans to the women, thus encouraging economic growth. This 7^th annual general assembly was conducted among all its share members on 17^th December 2016. The main objectives of general assembly were to present the annual co-operative transaction into the members and stakeholders, to make agreement of annual plan 2016 from members and stakeholders. During this time various activities were presented among all members. Presidents had presented summary of annual financial transaction and coming year plan. Treasurer had presented detail of completed income and expenditure and financial plan.

During assembly different stakeholders had been invited like political leaders, Municipality wards coordinator and secretory, social workers, different government organization etc. All of stakeholders expressed happiness from co-operative’s development. Some stakeholders expressed thanks for lead to women and gave good wishes for future. VIN program manager said that it is leading to women on empowering both financially and socially.  So VIN will be continued direct and indirect support for the co-operative development. And he added more, when women have good access on economic growth that society will be sustainably develop. Various women activities can determine that this co-operative will be model to lead women unity. Women’s members expressed that VIN has been helping from initial time to now, it is very important for this co-operative development. They requested that VIN should support to construct of co-operative building. They gave their well regards and gave a great reaction and requested for further continuation of VIN for this type of project support in future as well.
